Team Hike – Team Extreme Winter 2004 (Feb 21): Wildcat Shelter around Tuxedo NY.

Memorable moments:

· The trail had a lot of old snow on it that was soft because of almost 50 degree temperatures

· Rocco & Parker came in later on their own, Rocco’s pack was as big as he is

· Rocco’s latest nickname is Sprout

· The menu was something like this: Crack sausage with cheese, baked Brie topped with peach preserves, A huge London Broil cubed and in a nice sauce, Steak & sausage chili in edible bowls, a desert course of whipped cream and berries or candy, apple pies & cup cakes, more steak, Pork chops & pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon

· More menu items – 4 cases of beer, a bottle of vodka, Southern Comfort, JD, and some Guinness pints

· We sang outtakes of Team Hike! Team Hike! The musical and discussed new songs & choreography

· Temps fell throughout the evening and we had some freezing rain and snow

· Some Wood was there but we found a bunch more

· Late night tree fall expedition but after the large tree came down there was no attempt to move it

· Coyotes were heard howling and Popper stood guard for a part of the night waiting to take them out with his knife if they attacked

· The Rick was not there so there was no life or death situations on the trip
